01 Apr 09 Finding Recipes by Entering Ingredients

The single most common response to the news of RecipeBridge.com is: “can I enter in a list of ingredients and find recipes?”  In doing research for the Bridge we found that many cooking websites alrady had this feature so why haven’t people picked up on it?

I think the answer comes from the fact that without a very large number of recipes a by-ingredient search is not very helpful.  It often returns very few results, or worse yet none.  RecipeBridge has the potential to provide users access to millions of great recipes by entering their ingredients and finding recipes.  Take a look at the demonstration, try it out for yourself here , and leave a comment letting me know what you thought.
