06 May 09 Top Ten Cost-Conscious Beef Teriyaki Recipes

I derived this weeks top ten list from yesterday’s article on WSJ.com discussing how changes in the economy are driving people to cook at home more and be more creative.  The story discusses the case of Pam Frechette, a Connecticut mother of five who used the online cooking website AllRecipes to find a budget friendly alternative to going out for chinese food and prepared a great beef teriyaki and egg rolls dinner for her family saving $50.

In honor of Pam I thought I would put together a list of top recipes equaling low-cost Chinese alternatives.

  1. Easy Beef Teriyaki from Bakespace
  2. Teriyaki Beef and Lettuce Wraps from Better Homes and Garden
  3. 20 Minute Beef Teriyaki from Cooks.com
  4. Teriyaki Beef Stir-Fry from Cooking.com
  5. Orange Teriyaki Beef With Noodles from RecipeZaar
  6. Spicy Beef Teriyaki with Peppers and Onions from Meals Matter
  7. Miso Barbecue Beef W/Ginger Teriyaki from YumYum
  8. Teriyaki Beef With Peppers from Sainsbury
