Bruschetta – the delicious Italian appetizer
Bruschetta is the traditional Italian starter that we all crave whenever we go to Italian restaurants. With crusty, heated bread served with olive oil, garlic and a number of other toppings this dish is extremely satisfying and so more-ish it’s any wonder that we ever have enough room in our bellies for the entree!
But, nevertheless, bruschetta is a delicious dish which is very easy to make at home. This gorgeous Italian “antipasto” (“before the meal” in Italian) is a great way to whet your appetite before your main course and may often be served alongside olives, cheeses and cured meats etc.
